This was a very interesting project successfully executed. There were 4 challenges to address - 1) The cutter was to be of HSS with integral shank 2) The depth of cut was 40% of the cutter diameter. 3) The cutter thickness was only 1.5 mm 4) High risk of cutter breakage. 5) The component material was sticky - Aluminum. All these challenges were tackled systematically by Kaizen techniques. Today our process is streamlined to achieve consistent results of the supplied tools. All this was possible because of our strong R & D and perseverance. This has increased the confidence of our customer on our capabilities.
