Today we have successfully designed and developed a special cutter for vmc machine to accomplish recess machining of pump body. The requirement of our customer was such that the tool has to pass thru a smaller diameter bore and machine the recess of bigger diameter inside the body. The design challange was such that the tool must not fowl the body and must carry out smooth cutting with minimal vibration due to cutting forces.
